The lines that put a platform here
Three, narrow on purpose, and the same for every platform, including the ones we earn from.
- Content that sexualises minors
- Characters presented as children, or tags and descriptions that frame a character as underage, visible in an adult catalogue. A rule against it in the FAQ does not count if the catalogue shows otherwise.
- Taking payment with no one accountable
- The platform charges money and names no company, no address and no jurisdiction anywhere we can read, so a buyer has no one to hold to the terms.
- A subscription that cannot be stopped
- We could not cancel a plan we paid for through the platform's own settings or support, or a charge continued after cancellation.
What does not put a platform on this page
- A low score
- A weak product gets a low score in its review and a low place in the rankings. That is a measurement, not a warning.
- A high price
- Price is one of our six criteria. It moves a score, it does not put a platform on this page.
- A past data breach
- A breach is recorded in the review with its date and what the platform did about it. It weighs on the privacy score.

By fixing what put it here. We check again when a platform tells us it has, and if it holds, it comes off this page and its review says when. Platforms can reach us through our contact page.
