What happens to a submission
Four steps, the same ones every platform on this site went through. Our methodology describes each test in detail.
1. We check it is in scope
A live AI companion, chat, roleplay or image platform that an adult reader can sign up to.
2. We check it ourselves
We read your pricing, terms and privacy pages and follow the sign-up path like any reader. We do not use a test account or credits you send us, because readers do not get them either. We do not tell you when we check.
3. We score it
On the same weighted criteria as every other platform. If we cannot verify enough of them, the platform gets a review page without a score, and the page says why.
4. We publish it, dated
The review goes live with the date of the test. Its place in each ranking follows its score, the same way it does for everyone already listed.
The criteria, and their weight in the score: Chat Quality 22%, Pricing & Value 18%, Features & Customization 18%, Privacy & Security 17%, Image Generation 15%, User Experience 10%.

What we do not list
Anything that depicts minors, or real people without their consent. Platforms a reader cannot open from a normal account. Products that are not AI companions, chat or image generation. How we earn is set out in our affiliate disclosure and our editorial policy.
