Candy AI vs Kupid AI

The two platforms do not price in the same unit, which is what makes them hard to compare on a landing page. Kupid AI charges by the week on both paid plans, and the Ultra line is billed $299 for the year, in advance.

Candy AI is cheaper on the first annual term. We did not record a renewal price on its subscription page, so we do not claim that the annual rate holds after the first year.

Candy AI scores 8.5 on value against 5.0, and the weekly billing, with a discount shown behind a countdown, is most of the reason.

Corrected on 24 September 2026. This section said the Candy AI annual price is the one that keeps applying, and that the value gap was the widest after privacy. We had not recorded a renewal price, and the value gap is the wider of the two.

Kupid AI states its memory rather than describing it: the last 30 messages on Pro, the last 100 on Ultra. It is the figure that should decide whether you subscribe, because it tells you when a character starts forgetting what you said.

Candy AI advertises memory across sessions and publishes no figure, which is what most of the category does. We have not yet recorded a long conversation on either platform, so we do not claim that one holds a character longer than the other.

Corrected on 24 September 2026. This section presented Candy AI's conversation score as a measurement of how long it holds a character. No long session had been recorded on either platform.

Neither is a privacy pick, and the gap between them is wide. Candy AI scores 7.0, held down by seven advertising and analytics services on its public pages, though generated media sits on a separate private CDN rather than the main domain. Kupid AI scores 4.0, the third lowest of the platforms we rank, with seven tracking and advertising domains on its public pages.

Both address the bank statement and only the bank statement. Candy AI states the charge appears as EverAI. Kupid AI states no adult transaction appears at all. That is a real feature if someone else reads your statement, and it says nothing about what either company keeps.

Kupid AI lists crypto at checkout alongside cards. We have not verified a crypto option on Candy AI.

Neither lets you plug your own model, API key or proxy into the chat. We checked both in signed-in accounts, Candy AI on 22 September 2026 and Kupid AI on 23 September 2026. The chat runs only on each platform's own models.

Leaving is documented on one side only. We cancelled a paid Candy AI plan on 22 September 2026: seven clicks, three screens asking us to stay, and no confirmation email. Every step and the refund rules are in our guide to cancelling Candy AI. We have not tested cancelling Kupid AI.
